Today I got set a new assignment which involves taking a series of portraits that can be used in i-D magazines. Most of the front covers in the past have been of people winking and hiding one eye, to mimic the magazine title 'i-D'.

Sophie Clouston's Illustration

A few days ago I set Sophie Clouston the difficult challenge of illustrating an ugly and repulsive character. Sophie, being Sophie, decided that i matched the description perfectly and illustrated myself.

Final Image of Thumbs Up

The only thing that I have changed since finishing the video was the background. Before it was white vignetting with the union jack but I think it looks better in black.

Today decided to try and create a body painting effect on photoshop. For this video I photographed a image of my hand and used the union jack flag from the internet. this is how I created it.

The other day I started messing around on photoshop and decided I would try make a turtle look like it was huge. This video shows how I did it.

The Script - Science & Faith

Having a keen interest in music, I began looking at album covers that I could try to recreate in photoshop. I found The Script's new album and liked the look of the cover, shown below. I like the way two people are interlocking hands to show trust and "faith" in each other. I also like the grunge effect in the image, in my view, it makes the image stronger. 

I photographed the image underneath to help me recreate this album.
